We may collect information about you in a very limited way. All your countdown events, images, and other content are stored locally on your device - we do not have access to this data. The only information we collect includes:

• Analytics Data: We use Google Firebase and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This helps us improve the app's performance and fix bugs. This data cannot be tied to your personal identity.
• Device Information: Basic device information such as your device model and operating system version may be collected as part of crash reports to help us troubleshoot issues.
• App Tracking Transparency: In compliance with Apple's guidelines, we request permission before collecting any data that could be used for tracking. You will receive a prompt shortly after the app launches asking if you consent to tracking. You can change your preference at any time in your device settings.

2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

The limited information we collect is used solely for:

• Improving the Application through analytics and crash reports.
• Ensuring the app functions correctly on your device.
• Enhancing the user experience based on anonymous usage patterns.

All analytics and tracking functionality strictly respects your tracking preferences. If you decline permission, no tracking data will be collected.

3. DATA STORAGE AND PRIVACY

At Kounts, we take your privacy seriously:

• Local Storage: All your countdown events, images, categories, and other content are stored locally on your iOS device. We do not have access to this data.
• No Private Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or have access to your private names, event details, locations, or images you add to your countdowns.
• Third-Party Services: We only use Google Firebase and Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics and crash reporting, and only if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny permission, all tracking and analytics functions are completely disabled.
• User Control: You can change your tracking preferences at any time through your device settings under Privacy → Tracking.

4. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use Firebase Analytics to help us understand how users interact with our Application. This service collects anonymous usage data. No personally identifiable information is collected through this tracking technology. Firebase Crashlytics is used to identify and fix app crashes. Both services are only enabled if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

5. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

Since all your content is stored locally on your device, the security of this data depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using device passcodes, Face ID, or Touch ID to protect access to your device. For the limited analytics data we collect, we use industry-standard security measures through Google Firebase.

6. APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY

When you launch our app for the first time, you will receive the App Tracking Transparency permission dialog. The message will explain why we are requesting permission to track your activity. The specific text you'll see is:

"Your data helps us improve the app and provide a better experience. We only collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to fix bugs and enhance features."

You can choose "Ask App Not to Track" or "Allow Tracking" based on your preference. If you select "Ask App Not to Track," we will:

• Disable all Firebase Analytics tracking
• Disable Firebase Crashlytics reporting
• Not collect any data that could be used for tracking purposes

You can change this setting at any time in your device's Settings app under Privacy → Tracking.

7. POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.

8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
